The idea was to create four pieces, each of which reflects an outdoor environment with repetitive imagery and text which encourage familiarity and talking points for the children, carers and parents. The art works combine hand drawn lithographs and embossed papers made from hand cut lino stencils. The pieces are sewn together by hand with cotton embroidery threads and include hand stiched text. The four pieces are double sided and are housed between two panels of glass. They can be viewed from both the corridor and the care rooms.
