Simone Pfister - Printmaker
Simone Pfister is a Tasmanian printmaker who uses different techniques and processes, often combining these to produce one off art works and small editions. These techniques include stone lithography, embossing of paper, collograph, incorporating found images and stitching. Themes centre around explorations of identity, place and displacement, through memory, clothing, collections and found objects. Exciting new developments have seen Simone's practice branch into the crafting of small copper and sterling silver objects, both to be worn and to be displayed.
